I had a blind date last night courtesy of my aunt and uncle. As I opened the door, I came to the realization that they must hate me.
It was real bad.
We talked about software, how Olive Garden has the best soup in the state, and about his 2 for 1 coupon that paid for my meal.
There was also a lot of silence.
I have never been more happy to be home by 8:30.

Woah... this sounds eerily familiar. Did he sit on the same side of the table as you and then state that he wasn't a gamer, but then proceeded to discuss his "non-gaming" gaming habits for like a half hour and would laugh incessantly at himself with this creepy through-the-teeth-nervous-laughter-hiss at the end? I think I went out with him, too. Seriously... people who set us up MUST hate us. There's no other explanation.
I always hated that - open the door to blind date and you think, "oh so that's what they think of me." Sorry you had to live through another one Al!
You are a trooper!! I thought blind dates just didn't work, but look, that's how I met Ryan. So....you never know. I'm sorry this was a loser!
Ouch!! Dang...but if it wasn't for that awesome coupon maybe you would've had to cover your own meal (could've been worse). i too like the soup at olive garden maybe I should've been set up with him!! Sounds like a winner to me!! Call me!
